Well here is another movie that is now one of my top favorites. This ‘revenge’ film takes it to another level.

Disturbing Films

If you have had the chance to watch a movie with me you will know I am into some f’d up movies. Asian cinema is where it is at. Especially Korean movies. I love them! Intense, good story lines, and just plain wrong! I love depressing and disturbing movies.

Top 10 most disturbing films

10. “Gummo” – Harmony Korine

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119237/

Pretty much the day and life of some fucked up kids that like sniffing glue and killing cats.

09. “Kids” – Larry Clark

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113540/

I think we have all seen this one. This may be the first really shocking movie I ever watched when it came out.

08. “Mysterious Skin” – Gregg Araki

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0370986/

This movie is deep and deals with disturbing shit that happened to some kids.

07. “Ichi the Killer” – Takashi Miike

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296042/

This movie is just bloody graphic yet funny.

06. “Oldboy” – Chan-wook Park

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569/

One of my all time favorite movies. I was blown away when I first saw it. The movie follows the story of Dae-Su (guy above with hammer) who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years without knowing his captor’s motives. The ending is what makes it so wrong. This movie was actually going to be remade staring Nicolas Cage. FN Stupid…It was listed for a while and in production and then vanished. There is no way in hell a US version would keep the ending. They would have had to change the story line a lot.

05. “Irréversible” – Gaspar Noé

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290673/

Damn is this movie good. It happens in reverse meaning the end of the story is told first. It’s known for a 15 minute scene in the film that is really difficult to watch and a VERY graphic fight scene. The music is awesome all from Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk…featuring some of the Roulé classics.

04. “Ken Park” – Larry Clark

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209077/

Still banned in the US and will never be officially released here. I bought it from Russia on eBay. Larry Clark with his most fucked up teens yet.

03. “Audition” – Takashi Miike

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235198/

Still one of my favorite horror movies. This movie just starts off nice and easy and then TADOW its fucked up.

02. “Happiness” – Todd Solondz

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147612/

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. First movie I paused and asked myself should I be enjoying this???? Some disturbing shit here…but also funny.

01. “Salo, The 120 Days of Sodom” – Pier Paolo Pasolini

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073650/

This movie, up until about 6 months ago, was going for over $200.00 as it was out of print. The only way you could see it was buying a bootleg…and some of those were going for some cash. Now its been released on DVD and Blu-Ray. I have tried to watch this movie 2 times now and got sick to my stomach each time. From what I have read I have not seen the deepest parts yet (pictured). Loosely based on real events. Four fascist libertines round up 9 teenages boys and girls and subject them to 120 days of physical, mental and sexual torture. Many reviews say it’s a movie you should see 1 time. If you see it more than that something is wrong with you.
